Back Office Ophthalmic / Retina Technician - Full Time - ON-SITE

We are a busy, well‑established retina practice with a solo physician seeking a motivated and reliable Back Office Technician to join our team. Experience in retina is strongly preferred, but candidates with ophthalmology experience and a willingness to learn are highly encouraged to apply. We are happy to train the right person. Schedule & Location Full-time: ~40 hours per week Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (no nights or weekends) Locations North Phoenix – 3 days/week All staff rotate between both locations. What You’ll Do Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Rooming and working up patients Retinal imaging and diagnostic testing Assisting the physician with in‑office procedures Scheduling surgeries and diagnostic imaging Appointment scheduling and phone support Patient check‑in and check‑out Ordering office supplies and supporting daily clinic operations Accurate documentation in EMR (experience preferred) What We’re Looking For Prior retina or ophthalmology experience preferred Strong attention to detail and excellent reliability Able to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical setting Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player Solid computer skills; EMR experience a plus Willing and able to commute to both office locations Pay: Starting at $19/hour , with higher rates based on experience Benefits include Medical and dental insurance (after 90 days) Paid holidays and paid time off Parental leave 401(k) retirement plan (after one year) Work Location Requirements Must be able to commute to Phoenix, AZ 85027 AND Surprise, AZ 85378 Relocation to the area required prior to start date #J-18808-Ljbffr Advanced Retina and Eye Cancer Center
