Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population encompassing various age groups and backgrounds, including individuals with chronic mental health conditions, those experiencing acute crises, and patients requiring ongoing support for personal development. Our counselors are equipped to understand and address the specific challenges faced by patients seeking services in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or another related field is required.

• Extensive knowledge of the unique mental health challenges prevalent within the hospital outpatient setting, coupled with a passion for improving patient outcomes.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practices, particularly those suitable for brief therapy models and crisis intervention.

• Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with patients and liaise with multidisciplinary medical teams.

• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment while managing a caseload effectively and prioritizing tasks.
