Specialty: Orthopedics Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics night shift position requiring at least one year of specialty experience and an active MT or compact RN license. Responsibilities Work in an acute Orthopedics unit in a hospital setting 12-hour night shifts, three shifts per week Uses Epic EMR for charting May be required to float to other departments within skill scope May have on-call responsibilities during scheduled shifts Perform independent and delegated nursing functions, including patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Provide health teaching and counseling to patients Collaborate with the medical team and support delegated care tasks Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year prior to eligibility for this travel assignment Specific laboratory testing and background check requirements must be completed promptly upon assignment commitment Requirements Active MT or compact RN license required at the time of consideration Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg Orthopedics required ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred Current BLS certification from AHA required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred as appropriate for unit Must have completed documents for consideration: copies of certifications, date of birth, and last four digits of SSN No pending licenses accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-674469.
