Entry‑Level Bilingual (En/Sp) Estate Planning Paralegal 1st Estate Planning, PLLC in Mckinney, TX is seeking an entry‑level bilingual (English/Spanish) estate planning paralegal who will contribute to our expansion. The role involves supporting attorneys with document preparation, client files, and database maintenance to affect the lives and legacies of our clients. Compensation Starting at $40,000. Salary increases with experience and value added. Responsibilities Proactively seek, recommend, and engage in strategies to improve professional proficiency and task performance as well as the quality and productivity of the firm’s output, processes, and systems. Create Last Wills and Testaments, Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, General Durable Powers of Attorney, Medical Powers of Attorney, Directives to Physicians, and Declarations of Guardian under lawyer guidance. Categorize clients’ assets, organize the transfer of real estate and non‑qualified accounts into legal entities, and assist with revising specified beneficiaries for qualified accounts, life insurance, and annuities. Engage in conversations with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to provide updates, acquire information, and furnish feedback essential to finishing allotted cases and jobs according to appointed deadlines. Schedule signings and hearings, and communicate with lawyers and clients regarding their estate planning and court cases. Maintain client files to ensure they are correctly ordered and up to date, and control client documents. Write and file papers related to uncontested probate and guardianship matters (no litigation) under attorney supervision and submit them. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish. Willingness to commute to our office in McKinney, Texas and work full‑time. Self‑motivated and able to autonomously manage, prioritize, and complete tasks.
