Pediatrics Clinic NurseWe are seeking a compassionate clinical professional to join our Hiawatha Pediatrics care team! This position is open to Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Registered Nurses (RN). Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.ResponsibilitiesAssist physicians during patient exams and proceduresRoom patients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR)Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensureEducate patients on health, medications, and follow-up careCoordinate referrals and patient care follow-upsEnsure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environmentQualificationsValid and current licensure/certification in the state of Iowa as one of the following:Registered Nurse (RN) – Iowa Board of NursingCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) – accredited program with certification (AAMA, NCCT, NHA or AMT)Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferredFamiliarity with EPIC a plus!
