Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Pastry Cook to join our baking team. The role involves preparing a variety of Danish cakes, pastries and sweet goods according to traditional Danish recipes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting a high‑volume production environment across our stores. Responsibilities Prepare cakes, pastries and other sweet goods according to traditional Danish recipes. Observe and maintain product quality; adjust oven temperatures and baking times as needed. Measure and combine ingredients using mixing, blending, or cooking machinery. Decorate pastries and cakes following brand style guidelines. Check quality of raw materials to ensure standards and specifications are met. Follow plating, display and portion standards. Monitor ingredient inventory and properly label and store ingredients. Inspect equipment to ensure health and safety compliance. Maintain a clean and orderly station, adhering to health and safety standards. Qualifications & Requirements High School diploma or GED certificate (plus). Completion of a Culinary School program or apprenticeship preferred. 1–2 years of pastry‑making experience. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Basic math skills and great attention to detail. Excellent time‑management skills. Flexible schedule, including holiday shifts. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Adherence to company procedures and health and safety standards. Compliance with all food safety regulations.
