Position Overview

We're in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enrich a collaborative team committed to excellence in patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform crucial diagnostic procedures while working alongside a team of supportive clinicians, providing patients with timely and precise imaging to ease their worries.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each phase with empathy and tact
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions without delay
• Meticulously document examinations and manage patient records within our electronic medical record system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry standards to enhance your skills

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
