Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with prior Medical Assistant experience who enjoys providing outstanding patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Experience in dermatology, cosmetic medicine, or aesthetics is a plus, but not required.

• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient information • Welcome and prepare patients for examinations and treatments • Assist providers during examinations and procedures • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-up care • Educate patients on treatment plans and post-visit instructions • Maintain exam rooms, medical equipment, and clinical supplies • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and office policies • Support general front office and administrative functions as needed

Skills and Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and standard clinical procedures • Experience documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Experience in dermatology, cosmetic medicine, plastic surgery, or aesthetics • Experience assisting with dermatologic or cosmetic procedures • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems • Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) • Experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, and front office responsibilities • Knowledge of skincare treatments, injectables, or cosmetic services
