Key Responsibilities:

• Seeking a Medical Technologist (ASCP) to perform pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic laboratory testing in an acute-care hospital environment.
• Responsibilities include specimen processing and testing, quality control, result verification, equipment maintenance, inventory management, troubleshooting, and supporting laboratory performance improvement and staff training.
• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: Rotating Weekends / Weekends Only: ThursdaySunday
• Specialty: Lab Tech Lab

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related science, or equivalent CLIA88 qualification.
• ASCP, CLS (NCA), or applicable specialty certification required.
• Minimum 1+ year of recent Blood Bank experience in an acute-care hospital laboratory.
• Experience outside of an acute-care hospital setting will not be considered.
• Knowledge of moderate- and high-complexity laboratory testing.
• Must be comfortable working night shifts and rotating weekends.
• Important: Candidates must have recent acute-care Blood Bank experience and the required laboratory certification.
