BILLING ASSISTANT

About the Role: Intervention Group Inc is looking for a detail‑oriented and motivated Billing Assistant to join our team in Oakland, CA. Responsibilities: Process and prepare invoices, billing statements, and payment records accurately and on time Review and verify billing data for completeness and accuracy before submission Respond to client and internal billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve outstanding account issues Maintain and update client account information in billing systems Assist with accounts receivable tracking and follow up on outstanding balances Generate billing reports and support month-end closing processes Requirements: 1+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related administrative finance role Proficiency in billing software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting or business preferred About Us: Intervention Group Inc is a trusted organization based in Oakland, CA, dedicated to delivering high-quality services to the communities we serve.
