The role provides caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients, including personal care services and support for developing daily living skills. Responsibilities include meal preparation, clean‑up, food purchasing, medication administration under a Registered Nurse, patient transport, and documentation of services in compliance with productivity standards. Training Program With our MHACBO‑accredited program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental health certifications while receiving paid training and qualified clinical supervision. Work Schedule Friday through Monday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (Part Time, Swing) What You’ll Make $21.42 – $22.07 per hour, DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates. About the Program Rockwood is a co‑ed, 5‑bed Residential Treatment Home serving adults living with a mental illness. Each resident has a private ADA‑accessible bedroom and shared ADA‑accessible bathrooms. The facility is conveniently located near public transportation and other services. What You’ll Need Childcare and/or mental health experience (personal or professional) is preferred. A dedication to the wellbeing of each resident and helping them complete activities of daily living (ADL’s) and independent activities (IADLs). Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and be able to pass a DHS criminal background check. Physical Demands Ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 lbs. Occasional use of ladders, squatting/kneeling, and other physical tasks may be required. Crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings involve hands‑on maneuvers and client transfers.
