In this role, you won't just run simulations- you will architect the core systems (refrigeration, electrical, and engine integration) that power our future product line.If you are a technical expert who loves translating complex data into real-world performance and enjoy mentoring the next generation of engineering talent, we want to talk to you.Your Impact & PurposeChampion the Tech: Act as the lead technical authority and mentor for all HVAC/R modeling activities, elevating the capabilities of the entire engineering teamArchitect the Future: Collaborate closely on system architecture analysis, ensuring our designs are robust, innovative, and scalableDrive Excellence: Develop detailed, high-performance system designs that consistently hit and exceed our critical KPIsWhat You’ll DoAdvanced Simulation: Model complex sub-systems, components, and full-scale HVAC/R systems from the ground upData Validation: Bridge the gap between theory and reality by developing physics-based models and validating them against rigorous real-world test dataCross-Functional Deployment: Deploy cutting-edge component and system studies across a diverse portfolio of HVAC/R applicationsContinuous Optimization: Refine and perfect thermal, electrical, and mechanical system interactions to maximize efficiencyMinimum QualificationsMaster’s degree with 7 + years of professional hands-on experience in HVAC/R system modeling and simulationORBachelor’s degree with 10+ years of professional hands-on experience in HVAC/R system modeling and simulationPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors or Master in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Thermal EngineeringExtensive experience designing and modeling HVAC/R systems for commercial, industrial, transportation, or off-highway applicationsDeep expertise in refrigeration cycles and vapor compression systemsExperience integrating thermal, electrical, refrigeration, and engine/powertrain systemsExperience with system architecture development and trade-off analysisProven technical leadership experience leading complex engineering projectsExperience mentoring and developing junior engineersKnowledge of controls, system optimization, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE)Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to HVAC/R systemsExperience working in new product development from concept through validation and productionStrong project management and stakeholder communication skillsExperience with Design of Experiments (DOE), optimization techniques, and data analytics for system performance improvementPay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually.
