Digital Marketing Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY  

We are seeking a skilled and highly creative Digital Marketing Specialist to join our national team. As a Digital Media Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing our digital marketing strategies to enhance our online presence and drive engagement. You will be responsible for creating and managing compelling digital media content across various platforms.

Note: This position is ON-SITE in Columbus, Ohio .

A Kid Again fosters hope, happiness, and healing for kids with life-threatening conditions and their families. We do this through our Adventures – cost-free, care-free visits to amusement parks, sporting events, museums, holiday parties, and much more. We are condition agnostic – any child, birth to age 20, with a life-threatening condition can enroll for free with A Kid Again. We serve their whole family including their parents and siblings, so that they can all take a time out from illness together .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive digital media campaigns to increase brand awareness, traffic, engagement, and conversions.
• Create engaging and impactful digital media content, including images, videos and infographics to support marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with the development and programming teams to support their efforts via digital marketing channels.
• Manage and optimize all digital media platforms, including websites, social media channels, email, and Google advertising.
• Utilize analytics from digital media performance to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness and ROI.
• Stay up to date with the latest digital media trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our digital marketing efforts.
• Maintain brand consistency and ensure content is on brand across all digital media platforms.
• Support the marketing team with content creation outside the digital channels. 

  BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE  

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of professional work experience as a Digital Media Specialist or relevant role.

  • Problem-solving
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using digital media tools, Canva, content management systems, WordPress and social media management platforms.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
  • K nowledge of SEO strategies and techniques to drive organic traffic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
