As part of our outpatient office at the Holistic Mind Wellness Center, this full-time remote position allows you to dedicate your energy to delivering high-quality care to clients while we manage the administrative tasks.

Work Environment\n

This role is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility in your daily schedule. Our therapists can choose their caseloads based on personal preferences, taking on between 10 and 30 billable hours a week. All client interactions are conducted through telehealth sessions, which ensures accessibility for clients while also promoting a balance between work and personal life. We also provide opportunities for team collaboration with potential in-person group meetings.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine clients’ needs using the latest DSM.

• Provide a range of outpatient mental health treatments, including diagnostic examinations, case management, and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques in individual and group counseling, focusing on issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and substance use.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention and care coordination, particularly for clients in need of immediate support.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary clinical team, which may include psychiatrists and psychologists, to create comprehensive treatment plans.

• Document therapy sessions thoroughly and manage necessary paperwork, ensuring compliance with all organizational, state, and federal regulations.

• Actively participate in clinical team meetings, sharing insights, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and providing expertise on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, from individuals seeking help for mental health concerns to families looking to improve their dynamics. Our clientele often includes those dealing with mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders, as well as participants in Intensive Outpatient Programs. This role is pivotal in contributing to their recovery journey and overall well-being, leveraging your expertise to deliver tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Psy.D in the state of New York.

• A master's or doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing psychotherapy services in a clinical setting.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health records to manage client information and care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
