Warehouse Manager

Grane Transportation is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of materials and products. This role will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate inventory activities, and support production and shipping operations.
Schedule: 4:00 AM - 2:00 PM , Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Team: Supervise, schedule, and motivate a team of 4 General Laborers, 2 Forklift Operators, and 2 CDL Drivers .
Oversee Logistics: Coordinate daily routes and dispatching with CDL drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
Manage Warehouse Operations: Direct forklift operators and general laborers to optimize loading, unloading, staging, and material flow.
Maintain Safety Standards: Enforce warehouse safety procedures, equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and DOT compliance.
Adapt to Changing Priorities: Quickly adjust staffing, workflows, and delivery schedules to accommodate last-minute changes in order volume and customer demands.
Problem-Solving: Resolve scheduling conflicts, shipping delays, equipment issues, and other operational challenges quickly and effectively.
Inventory Management: Oversee stock placement, investigate inventory discrepancies, and ensure accurate data entry and tracking.
Operational Reporting: Maintain daily operational logs, driver performance metrics, shipping schedules, and inventory records.

Qualifications & Skills

3+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience, preferably overseeing warehouse employees and industrial drivers.
Strong understanding of fleet routing, driver dispatching, logistics, and CDL/DOT compliance.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks across multiple roles.
Experience coordinating daily driver dispatching, routes, and delivery schedules.
Experience using SAP for inventory tracking, goods receipts, and warehouse management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other warehouse/data-tracking systems.
CDL is a plus.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to remain calm and flexible when priorities and workloads change unexpectedly.
Ability to work in a physically demanding, high-labor warehouse environment while effectively leading and motivating a team.
