Responsibilities
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Maintains patient safety and comfort through accurate assessments, timely interventions, and effective communication with the care team.
- Documents care and patient responses in the medical record in line with policy and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to ensure effective and efficient patient progression and discharge planning.

Requirements
- Active California RN license (current and in good standing)
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Recent RN experience in an acute hospital setting; tele/telemetry experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3x12 schedule) and participate in travel assignment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and independent judgment skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and manage fluctuating patient needs
