Jr Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL and real-time streaming data pipelines using PySpark, Spark, and Java. Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing frameworks for large-scale datasets. Develop cloud-native data solutions utilizing AWS services such as S3, Lambda, SQS, and RDS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable, high-performance solutions. Ensure data quality, security, and operational excellence across data platforms. Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and implement best practices for scalable data engineering solutions. Contribute to the automation and continuous improvement of data infrastructure and deployment processes. Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a related field. Strong experience with PySpark, Spark, Java, and ETL/streaming pipeline development. Hands-on experience with AWS services, including SQS, Lambda, S3, and RDS. Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or both. Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and distributed data processing. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments. Hands-on experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management. Familiarity with modern Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications. Experience developing practical AI/LLM use cases using Azure OpenAI services.
