Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Surgical Services / OR Tech / Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment at a teaching acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have recent operating room experience and be comfortable supporting surgical teams across a variety of specialties in a fast-paced perioperative setting.

The ideal candidate will have recent operating room experience and be comfortable supporting surgical teams across a variety of specialties in a fast-paced perioperative setting.
Schedule
- Shift options will be discussed during the interview process
- Guaranteed Hours:
- 36 hours/week for 3 x 12-hour schedules
- 40 hours/week for 8- or 10-hour schedules
- Weekend and on-call requirements will be discussed during the interview
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room Surgical Technologist experience
- BLS Certification required
- NBSTSA or NCCT Certification preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures.
- Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments.
- Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
- Perform surgical counts according to policy.
- Assist with patient positioning and room turnover.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and perioperative staff.
