This includes guest rooms, public areas, meeting space, kitchen, laundry, and building equipment.Responsibilities • Complete guest room and public-area repairs• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, and carpentry work• Complete preventive maintenance inspections• Respond quickly to maintenance requests• Identify safety concerns, leaks, damage, and equipment problems• Maintain work orders, tools, parts, and maintenance areas• Assist with emergency repairs and other hotel needs• Follow hotel safety procedures and brand standardsQualifications • Previous hotel, apartment, or building maintenance experience preferred• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs• Ability to work independently and solve problems• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation• Professional appearance and communication skills• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from laddersScheduleA flexible schedule is required.
