Financial Operations AssociateWe're actively seeking several talented Financial Operations Associates to join the Consumer Markets Division (CMD) at Pacific Life in Omaha, NE or Charlotte, NC.As a Financial Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting Pacific Life's annuity and life insurance business by reviewing, analyzing, and processing financial and policy-related transactions in a highly regulated environment. This position combines operational processing, problem-solving, and client support to ensure accurate and timely servicing for policyholders, contract owners, and financial professionals.This role may support either our Inforce Processing Team or Advisor Services Team, based on business needs and candidate strengths.How You'll Make an ImpactInforce Processing Team: Support post-issue servicing for annuity and life insurance products by:Reviewing and processing policy and contract changes, conversions, reinstatements, exchanges, withdrawals, loans, electronic fund transfers, and registration updatesIdentifying incomplete, inaccurate, or non-compliant transaction requests and partnering with clients to resolve outstanding requirementsMaintaining accurate client records across internal systemsEnsuring all transactions meet departmental quality, productivity, and service standardsAdvisor Services Team: Support producer licensing and contracting operations by:Reviewing and processing producer contracting applications, appointments, licensing updates, continuing education, and errors & omissions documentationEnsuring documentation meets regulatory requirements, company policies, and service level agreementsCommunicating with producers, regulatory agencies, legal/compliance teams, and field offices to obtain required documentation and approvalsMaintaining accuracy across high-volume licensing and contract dataWhat Success Looks LikeIn this role, you will:Accurately review and process high-volume transactions in accordance with departmental procedures and regulatory requirementsDemonstrate strong judgment in identifying issues and resolving exceptionsProgress steadily through structured training and develop technical expertise in financial and insurance operationsMeet productivity, quality, and service expectations in a fast-paced environmentAdapt to shifting workflow priorities and support broader operational needs as requiredWhat You Bring0–2+ years of experience in operations, financial services, insurance, banking, administrative processing, compliance, or customer support in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfort navigating multiple systems and technology platforms simultaneouslyAbility to prioritize workload and manage deadlines effectivelyDesire to learn complex processes in a regulated environmentWhat Will Make You Stand OutExperience in financial services, insurance, banking, or other regulated industriesPrior experience in transaction processing, documentation review, licensing, underwriting, or operational supportDemonstrated success working in high-volume, metrics-driven environmentsGrowth mindset and commitment to continuous learningWhy Join Pacific LifeComprehensive onboarding and paid trainingOpportunity to build expertise in financial services and insurance operationsClear pathways for career growth across operations and broader business functionsCollaborative, supportive team environmentStability and reputation of a Fortune 500 financial services organizationCompensationStarting hourly rate based on experience and location:Omaha, NE: $20 - $22 per hour, plus annual bonusBase Pay Range:The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
