Work Environment This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while maintaining the collaborative atmosphere of an outpatient office. You will collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and emotional well-being, identifying immediate and long-term needs. Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client. Facilitate various therapeutic modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based interventions. Continuously monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Provide immediate crisis intervention support to clients experiencing acute psychological distress. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in strict compliance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring best practices in documentation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and comprehensive care delivery. Engage in continuous professional development opportunities, staying current with the latest mental health research and treatment methodologies. Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and share best practices. Adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards established by relevant licensing boards and organizations. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to adults facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to connect with clients on an individual level, understand their unique experiences, and provide personalized care will be crucial in fostering their healing journey. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required. Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist, such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong rapport with clients. Empathetic and compassionate nature, committed to the well-being of clients. Adept at working independently as well as collaborating effectively within a team environment. Thorough understanding of the ethical guidelines and laws governing mental health practices. Dedication to ongoing professional growth and education. Preferred Experience A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role is required.
