Job Description
We are seeking an experienced EEO Investigator to join a high-impact legal and compliance team supporting one of the largest healthcare systems in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about workplace integrity, employee rights, and conducting sensitive investigations that truly make a difference.
Location: New York, NY – 55 Water Street
Contract: 06/22/2026 – 08/15/2026 (08 weeks)
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
⏰ Schedule: 37.5 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $68 – $70/hour
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Office of Legal Affairs, the EEO Investigator will:
▪ Investigate internal complaints related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and sexual harassment
▪ Ensure compliance with all federal, New York State, and local anti-discrimination laws
▪ Conduct interviews, gather evidence, and prepare detailed investigative findings and reports
▪ Support the resolution of workplace complaints while maintaining confidentiality and neutrality
▪ Assist with special projects and additional assignments as needed
▪ Travel to healthcare facilities throughout NYC to provide timely investigative support
✅ QUALIFICATIONS:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree required
✔ Substantial experience conducting workplace or EEO investigations
✔ Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
✔ Ability to quickly assess situations and formulate balanced recommendations
✔ Experience navigating large organizational structures preferred
✔ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare/hospital environment
✔ Strong understanding of federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws
✔ Proficiency with MS Office Suite
