Employee Relations Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Employee Relations Specialist with at least 3 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a Temp opportunity, located in Queens, NY. Responsibilities include:
- Serving as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and support on workplace issues and company policies
- Managing and resolving employee relations matters including complaints, conflicts, and performance concerns with a balanced and objective approach
- Conducting internal investigations related to misconduct, policy violations, or workplace complaints while ensuring thorough documentation and confidentiality
- Partnering with HR and leadership to address workplace trends, mitigate risk, and promote a respectful and inclusive culture
- Providing coaching to managers on employee relations best practices, including performance management, discipline, and conflict resolution
- Drafting and reviewing written communications such as disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and investigation summaries
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies and procedures
- Tracking and analyzing employee relations data to identify patterns and recommend proactive solutions
- Supporting unemployment claims, employee hearings, and other compliance-related processes as needed
- Assisting with development and delivery of training programs related to workplace conduct, harassment prevention, and company policies
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of handling Employee Relations
Work Site: Onsite Employment Type: Temp Salary: $30-40/hr
