Senior Payroll Analyst

Location: Greater Cincinnati / Northern Cincinnati Area

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are working with a large, established organization in the Greater Cincinnati area that is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to join its payroll team.

This position will play a key role in supporting payroll operations, systems, compliance, and internal users. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on payroll experience along with the ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze payroll data, support system changes, and assist other members of the payroll team.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day payroll operations and help ensure payroll systems remain accurate and compliant.
\n
• Research and resolve more complex payroll questions and escalations.
\n
• Provide support and guidance to payroll team members and internal business partners.
\n
• Monitor and manage payroll-related requests and issues through an internal ticketing/workflow system.
\n
• Analyze payroll reports and provide information to internal stakeholders.
\n
• Document payroll processes, business requirements, and system changes.
\n
• Assist with payroll system enhancements, testing, validation, and implementation.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and system functionality.
\n
• Work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, IT, and other internal teams as needed.
\n

Qualifications

Required:

\n
• 4+ years of payroll experience.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
\n
• Experience supporting employees or internal customers with payroll-related questions.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and related business applications.
\n
• High school diploma or GED.
\n

Preferred:

\n
• Bachelor's degree.
\n
• Experience with enterprise payroll systems.
\n
• Payroll tax experience.
\n
• Experience supporting payroll system implementations, enhancements, or testing.
\n
