This role supports kitchen operations, mentors staff, and ensures high standards in food quality, safety, and service. Responsibilities Collaborate with associates to meet production goals and ensure smooth kitchen operations Mentor Cook III and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support Skillfully prepare hot and cold foods that meet the hotel’s high standards Maintain in depth knowledge of food products, sanitation standards, and culinary techniques to execute dishes at the highest level Fulfill guest orders in a timely manner with skillful attention to detail Work in a collaborative environment while maintaining professionalism Regularly restock kitchen supplies and maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas Deliver on guests’ expectations and create WOW moments Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the normal scope of duties based on business needs About You You love creating dishes and telling stories with food You are passionate about providing exceptional guest service and creating memorable moments You are open to learning, developing, and growing personally and helping others do the same You are trustworthy and have integrity Must Haves Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Ability to collaborate in a team environment with excellent communication skills One year minimum of cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel Luxury hotel experience is a plus You Will Enjoy Free meals Free uniforms and cleaning gear Ongoing community outreach events Hotel discounts Associates’ events throughout the year Healthcare benefits 401k retirement plan with company matching Physical Requirements Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, and bending over Stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during scheduled shift Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift Push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi‑regular basis Work indoors in moderate temperatures controlled by hotel systems, but able to work in extreme temperatures such as freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F) Pay The pay scale for the Cook position ranges from $21.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour.
