New College Grad - Senior Process Development Engineer, 3D DRAM Wet Etch

Overview Micron Technology is a Fortune 500 company that leads the global memory and storage market, providing DRAM, NAND, and other advanced memory solutions. Responsibilities Drive strategic technical and tactical decisions at a project and platform level by contributing to feasibility studies and proactively addressing technical challenges. Lead key processes including vapor/plasma etching, selective wet etching, surface preparation, and high‑aspect‑ratio processing. Own the wet etch process roadmap to meet program and yield goals. Actively build Micron intellectual property and advance technical readiness toward program integration. Collaborate with senior management to provide consultation and influence technical and strategic decisions, while building alliances with customers. Drive product planning, roadmap, platform features, and functional area strategy with a focus on scientific fundamentals. Minimum Qualifications 5 years of experience in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or an equivalent field, or equivalent education and experience (PhD research; Master’s + 2 years; Bachelor’s + 5 years). Demonstrated thorough characterization in all areas of prior work. Ability to resolve complex issues through root‑cause or model‑based problem solving. Basic knowledge of thermodynamics, kinetic factors driving chemical reactions, transport phenomena, fluid dynamics, or fundamental characterization of chemical reactions. Preferred Qualifications Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing. Incorporation of AI into daily work, emphasizing coding, automation, and/or data science. Proven track record of working within a team and ability to work independently with minimal direction. Strong project management skills and ability to exchange complex information with peers and management.
