Job Responsibilities

• Perform extensive patient evaluations, conducting thorough physical exams and reviewing medical histories to inform care
• Assist in recognizing and diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging reports and laboratory data
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to formulate and carry out tailored surgical strategies for patients
• Support intraoperative processes, preparing the OR, positioning patients perfectly, and delivering surgical instruments as needed
• Administer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including wound management, medication prescriptions, discharge plans, and patient education

Educational Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred experience in surgical-focused clinical rotations

Required Certifications

• Valid and current PA-C certification
• Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant
