Schedule Details: Monday-Friday8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
8-hour shifts
Reason for Coverage: Gap in coverage
Practice Setting: Hospital and Clinic
Working at:
- Medical Center
- Urology Clinic (approximately 1 mile away)
Both hospital and clinic privileges required.
Patient Population: Ages 17+
Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day
Responsibilities:
- Annual follow-up and medication refill visits
- Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction
- Evaluate and manage kidney stones
- Manage male incontinence
- Perform cystoscopies
- Standard urology procedures in the clinic and operating room
If a surgical PA:
- Hospital rounding
- Surgical assisting
If a non-surgical PA:
- Clinic responsibilities only
Physician Assistants will work collaboratively with the supervising physician.
Facility Details: 122-bed facility
Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Procedures: Standard urology procedures in both the clinic and operating room
EMR: EPIC
Requirements:
- Active Washington License in hand at time of presentation - Required
- IMLC not currently accepted
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) - Required
- ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) - Required
