Urology Physician Assistant

Locums - Longview, Washington, NP/PA Urology Opening

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Duration: 26 weeks

FTE: 1.0

Schedule Details: Monday-Friday8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

8-hour shifts

Reason for Coverage: Gap in coverage

Practice Setting: Hospital and Clinic

Working at:

• Medical Center
• Urology Clinic (approximately 1 mile away)

Both hospital and clinic privileges required.

Patient Population: Ages 17+

Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day

Responsibilities:

• Annual follow-up and medication refill visits
• Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction
• Evaluate and manage kidney stones
• Manage male incontinence
• Perform cystoscopies
• Standard urology procedures in the clinic and operating room

If a surgical PA:

• Hospital rounding
• Surgical assisting

If a non-surgical PA:

• Clinic responsibilities only

Physician Assistants will work collaboratively with the supervising physician.

Facility Details: 122-bed facility

Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

Procedures: Standard urology procedures in both the clinic and operating room

EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

• Active Washington License in hand at time of presentation - Required
• IMLC not currently accepted
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) - Required
• ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) - Required
