Client Service Associate – Wealth Management Are you an experienced wealth management or financial services professional who genuinely enjoys the relationship side of the business? I’m recruiting for a highly respected, independent wealth management firm in Roanoke, VA that has experienced tremendous growth while intentionally maintaining the close-knit, collaborative culture that helped build its success. This is a 15-person organization where people know each other, support each other, and have opportunities to grow internally . The firm has experienced approximately 4X growth over the past decade yet remains deeply rooted in its local community and committed to delivering highly personalized service. They’re looking for a Client Service Associate who can become a trusted point of contact for clients and an integral partner to the firm's Financial Advisors. This is NOT simply an administrative position. You'll have meaningful client interaction, ownership of relationships and service needs, exposure to sophisticated wealth-management operations, and the opportunity to build a long-term career within the organization. You'll work directly with clients rather than sitting behind the scenes processing transactions all day. The firm takes a holistic approach encompassing financial planning, investments, tax strategy, estate planning and risk management . Approximately 15 employees means your contributions are visible and valued. This is a close-knit group where people work together rather than operating in silos. Founded in 2015, the organization has grown approximately fourfold in a decade while remaining intentionally focused on the clients and communities it serves. What You'll Do You'll serve as a key connection between clients, Financial Advisors and the operational side of the firm, including: Manage client onboarding from beginning to end Serve as a primary point of contact for existing clients Respond to client questions and resolve service requests Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships Support Financial Advisors with ongoing client needs Maintain accurate CRM records, activity logs and client documentation Coordinate with custodians, investment companies and third-party providers Prepare materials for client meetings and portfolio reviews Support compliance and recordkeeping requirements Assist with account maintenance and wealth-management operations Identify opportunities to improve processes and the overall client experience Help ensure every interaction reflects the firm's high-touch service standards What We're Looking For Ideally, you'll bring experience from a: We're particularly interested in candidates with: Several years of wealth management, financial services or Client Service Associate experience Understanding of investment and financial-planning operations Strong client relationship and service skills CRM and financial-services technology experience Familiarity with custodial/account-opening processes Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to independently manage multiple client priorities A genuine desire to build relationships and provide exceptional service Series 7 / 66 Experience with securities licensing is certainly valuable, particularly Series 7 and Series 66 or Series 7 + 63/65 . However, you do NOT need to currently hold active Series 7/66 licenses to be considered. Candidates with strong wealth-management/client-service experience who are willing and able to obtain the appropriate licensing are encouraged to apply.
