Patient Communication Specialist

Job Category : Integrated Clinical Services Respond appropriately to a high volume of incoming calls, remaining professional and courteous Verify and update patient information during each interaction; enter accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Provide accurate information regarding services, insurance, office policies and procedures to clients/customers Triage calls and messages and route to the appropriate department or team member Other related duties as assigned. F ull-time 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, with a hybrid work scheduled of 3 days in our Chapel Hill or Concord office, 2 days at home. Qualifications: Education, Licensure and Certifications, Related Work Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical office or healthcare call center Other specialized skills and knowledge necessary to perform this job. (e.g., basic accounting principles, computer skills and software, specific healthcare processes, interpersonal, communication: Proficient in computer application skills, including EHR/EMR, and utilization of common office equipment Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Efficient at multi-tasking, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
