Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Access in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment through clear communication, attention to detail, and a caring approach. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide a professional, welcoming front-desk presence for members, visitors, staff, and contractors at a community-focused facility.
Support access-control procedures by greeting guests, verifying visitor authorization, issuing credentials as directed, and maintaining accurate visitor logs.
Monitor entry areas, reception communications, and site systems as assigned; report unusual activity, access concerns, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency services when directed.
Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
