Role Summary

The Senior Creative Services Manager leads SLB's multidisciplinary Creative Services team, bringing business and communication strategies to life through impactful visual storytelling and creative execution.

Reporting to the Director of Brand and Creative Services, this role oversees creative delivery across design, multimedia, photography and video, 3D and immersive content. The Senior Creative Services Manager provides people leadership, creative oversight, and operational direction while partnering closely with Brand, Marketing and Communications teams, business stakeholders, and external agencies.

The role requires a strong creative leader who can translate complex business needs into compelling visual solutions, develop and empower creative talent, and ensure work is delivered with a consistently high standard of quality, efficiency, and brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Creative Services

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of designers, animators, photographers, videographers, multimedia specialists, and other creative professionals.
• Set clear expectations and priorities while creating an environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
• Provide creative direction and constructive feedback that elevates the quality and effectiveness of the team's work.
• Build capability across the team by identifying development opportunities, emerging skill requirements, and evolving creative needs.

1. Drive Creative Excellence and Brand Alignment

• Translate business, brand, marketing, and communications objectives into strong creative direction and visual storytelling.
• Champion the SLB brand and ensure creative work consistently reflects
• Provide oversight and direction for high-visibility initiatives, including corporate campaigns, executive communications, major events, brand storytelling, and business-critical communications.
• Partner with Brand leadership to operationalize and continuously improve creative standards, guidelines, tools, and best practices.

1. Manage Creative Operations and Delivery

• Oversee the Creative Services portfolio, including project prioritization, resource planning, workflow, budgets, timelines, and delivery.
• Balance business priorities and creative resources across a high volume of global requests while maintaining quality and responsiveness.
• Drive effective use of creative workflow, collaboration, and digital asset management platforms and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve creative operations, simplify processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen the stakeholder experience.
• Manage external agencies, production partners, freelancers, and specialized vendors as needed.

1. Partner Across the Business

• Serve as a trusted creative partner to Marketing and Communications teams, business lines, functions, and senior stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical and business topics into clear, compelling visual communications.
• Collaborate across teams to define objectives, develop creative approaches, and deliver solutions appropriate for the audience and channel.
• Represent Creative Services in planning discussions for major campaigns, events, executive initiatives, and other strategic programs.

1. Advance Creative Capabilities

• Stay current on emerging creative technologies, production methods, platforms, and industry trends.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen SLB's creative capabilities and evolve how the company tells its story through design, multimedia, photography, video, and immersive experiences.
• Encourage thoughtful experimentation and adoption of new tools and approaches while maintaining appropriate brand, quality, governance, and business standards.

Experience and Qualifications

• Significant experience in creative services, creative operations, design, multimedia, brand communications, agency leadership, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Strong understanding of brand systems, visual storytelling, creative production, and integrated communications.
• Experience managing complex creative portfolios, competing priorities, resources, budgets, and external partners.
• Strong creative judgment with the ability to provide clear direction and constructive feedback across multiple creative disciplines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
• Ability to operate effectively within a large, global, matrixed organization and build strong partnerships across functions and geographies.
• Familiarity with creative workflow/project-management platforms, digital asset management systems, Adobe Creative Cloud, and evolving creative technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in design, communications, marketing, advertising, media, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
