What you'll do
As an HVAC installation technician, you'll be responsible for installing residential HVAC systems with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment
- Ensure every installation meets Bonfe's high standards for workmanship and safety
- Perform final quality inspections and system testing
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process
- Document work and job details using ServiceTitan
- Collaborate with dispatch, service technicians, and leadership to ensure smooth project execution
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide effective solutions
- Stay current on industry technology, products, and best practices
What we're looking for
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of HVAC installation experience
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and installation practices
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver HVAC equipment
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- EPA certification
- Journeyman licensing or advanced HVAC certifications
