Responsibilities You will directs and oversee and ensure comprehensive compliance for the control of all accountable SAP/SCI documentation/media to include receiving and dispatching, initiating processes to improve resource management. You will provide expert security guidance and leads accreditation approvals for complex pre-construction maintenance and modification, including alarms, facility checklists, and standard procedures. You will develop, deliver, and defend complex security education briefs and program briefs to internal and external stakeholders up to the customer/sponsor level. You will conduct investigations on highly complex or sensitive security incidents providing a definitive final report of the outcome as well as directing corrective action implementation for management. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications NM-04 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing compliance for control of accountable SAP/SCI documentation and media, including receipt and dispatch. Improves resource management processes and investigates complex security incidents, providing final reports and directing corrective actions for management. NM-03 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band NM-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with the control and accountability of SAP/SCI documentation and media, including receipt, distribution, and dispatch; supporting resource management activities, conducts preliminary reviews of security incidents, prepares reports, and assists with implementing corrective actions under supervisory guidance. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education NM-04: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related NM-03: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related Transcripts must be submitted at time of application. Additional Information THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE ANNOUNCEMENT. Section 1109 of the National Defense Authorization Act Fiscal Year 2020 Public Law 116-92 amended Section 9905 of title 5, United States Code (U.S.C.) to streamline and simplify certain Department of Defense civilian Direct Hire Authorities to recruit and appoint qualified candidates directly to certain positions in the competitive service in the Department of Defense. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is in the Science & Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Human Resource Management System pay band for Department of Defense laboratories. The pay schedule and pay band for all Administrative Specialist/Professional Positions will be NO-1/2/3/4/5/6. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
