Golf Shop Associate (Palm Valley Country Club)
Position Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This is a part-time seasonal position. Time period: October to end of May based on business needs.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Golf knowledge (golf operations, golf equipment and merchandise).
- Experience with Tee Time Reservation System.
- Experience with POS and basic computer operations.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishes excellent member and guest relations and ensures the highest quality of customer service.
- Golf Shop operations: checking in members and guests, tee time reservations, event registrations, merchandise sales and event promotions. May assist in special events and assists with other operations as needed.
- Enforces all rules and regulations governing the use of the golf course, golf carts and other golf facilities.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
- Must be willing to work various shifts (morning, mid-day or afternoon), weekends and holidays.
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and maintain composure.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more.
- Must be able to stand on feet majority of the day.
