Job Description

• Develop Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess individual patients' needs and create tailored treatment strategies that align with their daily life goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to enhance patients' physical skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities.
• Engage in Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure a well-rounded and cohesive care experience.
• Empower Patients and Families: Provide education and guidance to patients and their support systems, ensuring meaningful progress continues beyond clinical settings.
• Document Progress and Adjust Plans: Keep meticulous records of patient advancements and modify treatment methods as necessary to stay aligned with their recovery journey.

Education

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Continuing education or postgraduate credentials are encouraged and fully supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
