The position will report to the Global Controller and assist in key monthly closing activities to ensure accurate financial records and adherence to Company policies primarily for trial balances in the US and Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting or audit background with experience in Oracle/Hyperion and SAP. In this role, you will have high visibility to upper management and great opportunity for career progression.RESPONSIBILITIESPerform key monthly close activities and analysis for Versigent’s North American region including journal vouchers and account reconciliationsCoordinate with internal and external audit teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley ControlsSupport preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables for presentation to finance leadershipSupport and instruct regional finance personnel regarding internal accounting guidance and policyQUALIFICATIONSBachelor degree in Accounting or Finance5 years of relative experience, preferably with a publicly traded companyExperience working in internal or external AuditSAP / Hyperion / Oracle experienceAutomotive / Manufacturing industry experience preferredAbility to analyze information and recommend course of actionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsLocal residents only, with the ability to work onsite in Troy, MIMust be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the futureWHY JOIN US?Grow with purpose.
