Client Services Consultant

Overview The Houston office is excited to present this rare opportunity to serve as the on‑site Fragomen Client Services Consultant for one of the firm’s key clients in Austin, TX while also supporting our Fragomen Houston Team. The role requires approximately two days per week spent onsite in Austin, with the remaining three days working remotely for Fragomen’s other clients. Responsibilities Serve as a U.S. immigration resource to the client’s HR team, foreign nationals, and managers. Work within client and Fragomen systems to address immigration‑related issues and questions. Act as point of contact for client employees, handling issue escalation and resolution. Review dependent work‑authorization applications and other visa‑related matters. Escalate assessments requiring legal analysis to Fragomen attorneys as needed. Coordinate and ensure organizational compliance with government requirements. Manage sensitivity for VIPs or special cases to ensure appropriate handling. Collect and structure data to support, and own decisions that drive, project effectiveness, efficiency, and innovation. Leverage relationships and build goodwill to strengthen connections and trust between the client and Fragomen. Prepare and deliver presentations to the business when required. Partner with stakeholders to secure project buy‑in, resourcing, and productive results. Assess and clarify stakeholders’ primary goals and motives to ensure they are considered and communicated effectively. Connect with and empathize with stakeholders. Manage a docket of cases, processes, and administrative needs. Monitor government websites for updated notices and bulletins and share relevant information with teams. Assist client HR teams with administrative tasks and respond to general visa inquiries, facilitating access to visa services. Draft general communications related to organizational processes and standards, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Proofread and clarify drafted communications prepared by other team members. Consult with leadership and/or attorneys to understand regulations and legal requirements related to visa and immigration requests. Manage the client‑specific drop‑box and answer protocol queries from case workers. Analyze initiation data, identify trends, and contribute to continuous improvement. Execute ad‑hoc projects and reporting as required. Qualifications Associate’s degree or Paralegal certificate plus four years of business immigration experience, orBachelor’s degree plus three years of professional experience in business immigration or global mobility. Previous experience as a Client Onsite Resource preferred but not required. Strong multitasking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment with competing demands. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels by videoconference, phone, and email. Demonstrated flexibility regarding client and legal team requests. High level of productivity and strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Initiative and flexibility in managing assignments for self and team. Professional courtesy and tact when providing information and responding to requests for assistance. Team player, self‑motivated, and committed to excellence in the workplace. Willingness to work flexibly from client site offices and Fragomen offices.
