The Bankruptcy Paralegal plays a crucial role within a large legal team, primarily managing a substantial caseload of over 50 Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. This position demands strong organizational skills to handle case management, document preparation, and meeting critical filing deadlines. The paralegal will engage in client communications as needed and utilize specialized software such as BestCase for efficient case tracking and management. While the role does not require court appearances, occasional client meetings may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage large caseload of bankruptcy cases efficiently
• Prepare and review bankruptcy documentation and forms
• Ensure timely filing and adherence to all deadlines
• Communicate effectively with clients, primarily in Spanish
• Maintain accurate data entry and case information in BestCase software
• Organize evidence and case files for attorneys
• Generate detailed reports to support case progress and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in bankruptcy law
• Fluent in Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills
