divh2Guest Service Representative/h2pResponsible for performing a variety of guest service activities while providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous and professional manner by following brand service standards and adhering to guidelines and procedures./pulliGreet, register, and assign rooms to guests./liliAnswer telephone./liliPost charges (i.e. room, food, telephone), compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests./liliMake and confirm reservations./liliMonitor room availability./liliBlock rooms./liliProgram wake-up calls./liliHandle guest mail and messages./liliPerform check-out services./liliOpen and close shifts making cash drops as necessary./liliMaintain market stock and coffee area as needed./liliProvide information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel, i.e. restaurant, lounge, room service./liliProvide guests with directions and information regarding the local area./liliAssist in maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, front entrance and surrounding areas./liliAssist in checking all lobby fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance. Report deficiencies./liliSchedule shuttle runs for guests (hotels with shuttle only)./liliProvide safe transportation to all guests using the hotel shuttle vehicle (hotels with shuttle only)./liliPerform laundry duties as needed/liliMaintain continental breakfast, including closing and cleaning of area./li/ulpAvailable shifts: 8:00am-4:00pm and 4:00pm-12:00am/ppQualifications/ppOne to three months related experience and/or training; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 18 years of age./ppPhysical Demands/ppThe associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds./ppWork Environment/ppWhile performing the duties of this Job, the associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, chemicals and dust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
