Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily nursing operations during assigned shifts, ensuring quality care and compliance with all regulations
• Coordinate and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to care plans
• Monitor residents' health status and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies
• Document all care activities accurately and maintain detailed resident records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff members

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida
• Proven experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing home care
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
