Senior Tax Accountant / CPA – Greensboro, NC

Full Time and Part Time Positions Available Immediately!

We are hiring for both our Greensboro, NC Location and our Raleigh, NC Location!

Essential Functions:

Prepare and review complex tax returns for Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040 and 1041 including multistate returns.

Provide quantifiable and proactive tax planning

Perform technical tax research and write memorandum

Handle ad hoc and special projects for clients as needed.

Ensure accounting and all supporting information for client is maintained accurately for preparation of tax returns and bank requirements.

Job Qualifications:

3+ years of recent experience working with corporate, public or small business tax accounting.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Collaborative, trustworthy and eager to learn

Good understanding of financial statements, general accounting, and Tax Preparation required.

Experience using MS Office, QuickBooks Online, UltraTax, and/or other accounting and tax software

Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines

Demonstrates superior client service skills while managing client relationships and ensuring high quality services

Experience :

Bachelor's/Master's degree with Concentration in Accounting/Business

CPA is preferred

3-5 years working in Corporate, public, or small business tax accounting. References required.
