Finance Program Manager

In this impactful role within our Finance Program Management Office (PMO), you will drive the planning and execution of cross‑Finance process, technology, and data programs to optimize efficiency, insights, and growth for our Finance organization. This is a hybrid position that can be based in either Los Angeles or Los Gatos and offers the flexibility to work remotely part‑time. Occasional travel, including internationally, may be required. Responsibilities Lead programs and projects from ideation through implementation. Define scope, approaches, and success outcomes for projects. Develop project charters and comprehensive work plans with clear milestones and dependencies. Track task status to surface roadblocks and ensure milestones are met. Proactively manage risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies. Align business, product, and engineering partners on priorities and tradeoffs. Connect the dots across teams and programs to increase understanding and support well‑informed decisions. Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders as a thought partner, shaping approaches and facilitating decisions to move initiatives forward. Translate complex program status into clear, concise executive communications. Maintain stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively. Provide stakeholders with project decisions and milestone tracking. Ensure executive sponsors are informed via status updates and appropriate escalations. Collaborate with Finance business leads, product, engineering and technical program managers to deliver solutions that meet or exceed business stakeholders’ needs. Influence cross‑functional team members to achieve project goals. Identify owners and decisions needed, providing context and data to inform stakeholder decision‑making. Apply a structured methodology to lead change management activities. Develop and ensure execution of change management deliverables (stakeholder analysis, business impact assessment, change adoption strategy, training plans, etc.). Domain Knowledge Order to Cash Procure to Pay Record to Report Forecast to Delivery Qualifications 7+ years of project or program management experience, planning and implementing complex systems impacting multiple processes and teams. 3+ years focused on finance and accounting processes and systems within a global enterprise. Bachelor’s degree required (business or finance preferred). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Experience with modern PMO tooling (Smartsheet, Coda, Airtable, or similar). Comfort with AI‑assisted workflows and productivity tools. CPA or any professional finance accreditation is a plus. Compensation The range for this role is $215,000.00 – $340,000.00.
