Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef to lead our kitchen operations and support our culinary team. This role is responsible for managing daily kitchen execution, overseeing line operations, maintaining food quality standards, organizing prep, and ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on kitchen leader who can work alongside the team, keep service running smoothly, and help maintain consistency across all dishes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations during lunch and dinner service.
• Manage the kitchen line and ensure smooth execution during busy periods.
• Train, support, and guide line cooks and prep staff.
• Organize daily prep lists and assign kitchen tasks.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Review inventory levels and prepare ordering lists for missing ingredients and supplies.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and proper food storage.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure stations are properly stocked and ready for service.
• Help improve kitchen organization, efficiency, and workflow.
• Work closely with management to maintain consistent restaurant standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Lead Line Cook.
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine is a plus.
• Experience managing a restaurant kitchen team.
• Ability to lead by example and work hands-on during service.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and inventory control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented.
