Home Caregiver / Personal Care Attendant - Garland

Morning Client Assignment | Garland / Richardson Area

Harmony At Home Senior Care is currently adding a caregiver to our team for a recurring morning home care assignment in Garland near the Richardson area .

The client receives care four mornings each week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM .

This schedule provides approximately 16 hours per week with this client , but caregivers are welcome to request additional assignments. We have multiple clients and schedules throughout our service area for employees interested in adding more hours.

Current Opening

Monday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Location: Garland, TX near Richardson
Hours with this client: Approximately 16 hours per week

Compensation

Harmony At Home Senior Care's client assignment rates generally range from $10.00–$15.00 per hour .

Individual assignment rates are determined based on factors such as the specific client assignment, location, schedule, care needs, and caregiver availability.

Our agency also frequently offers increased pay rates for urgent or difficult-to-fill shift coverage , commonly ranging from $16.00–$20.00 per hour .

Increased rates apply only to qualifying shifts when specifically offered and are not guaranteed for all assignments or hours.

You can work this regular client schedule and request additional assignments.

More schedules and hours with other clients are available upon request.

Caregivers interested in building a larger weekly schedule can provide their complete availability to our Scheduling Team. Depending on current openings, additional assignments may include:

• Morning or afternoon care

• Evening schedules

• Overnight assignments

• Weekday or weekend hours

• Recurring weekly clients

• PRN and pick-up opportunities

• Urgent coverage shifts

Additional assignments are offered based on current client needs, caregiver availability, qualifications, location, and schedule compatibility.

Working With Our Clients

Harmony At Home Senior Care provides non-medical in-home care and assistance. Caregiver duties are based on each client's individual plan of care and level of assistance needed.

A typical shift may involve:

• Assisting with daily personal care routines

• Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance

• Providing companionship and supervision

• Mobility and transfer assistance

• Preparing meals and snacks

• Providing medication reminders

• Light housekeeping related to client care

• Assistance with approved errands or transportation

• Helping maintain a safe home environment

• Completing required documentation

• Communicating changes or concerns to the office

Caregiver Qualifications

We are looking for caregivers who are dependable, professional, and comfortable providing care in a client's private residence.

Applicants should:

• Have reliable personal transportation

• Have a valid driver's license

• Be able to reliably travel to the Garland/Richardson area

• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance

• Follow client care plans and agency policies

• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and staff

• Complete required onboarding and training

• Be comfortable working independently in a home care environment

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but may come from a variety of backgrounds, including home care, senior care, personal care, assisted living, memory care, CNA, HHA, PCA, personal care attendant, or similar experience.

Relevant personal caregiving experience may also be considered.
