This position will be responsible for pre-flight of electronic files provided by clients or pulled from our archives. Candidate will need to be proficient in latest cloud-based design and publishing software and RIP applications. This position works directly for the company's production manager to facilitate the flow of graphics from the CSR to the production floor.

We are looking for a dependable, detail oriented, collaborative team member for our prepress department. The candidate needs experience in a production prepress and possess proficiency in file preparation for optimal press output.

Analyze files provided by clients or in-house design and assess suitability for printing, checking and double-checking critical aspects of images and text- troubleshoot and fix file issues, including alignment, color, exposure, clarity, grain and other image and typography problems, as well as manipulating for bleed and binding ensuring optimal output.

Create proofs and/ or mock ups for client or design team review, making needed adjustments in response to feedback, then cheerfully and meticulously creating new proofs until final design is approved. Double-check proofs for quality and accuracy including clarity and alignment.

Plate preparation and output for offset printing printing or prepare/ send files for digital output.

Maintain tidiness of work area, including keeping computers and printing equipment clean and in good repair

Hours: 7:30-4:30 pm M-F

Vacation, Paid Holidays and Benefits

Overtime as needed on nights and weekends.

Preferred 3 Years Experience in Prepress/ File Intervention
