Finance Attorney

An elite international law is looking to onboard an Associate into their recognised Debt Finance team. The position will be located in their Charlotte, North Carolina office. They welcome applicants that are looking to relocate to North Carolina. The team has extensive experience representing issuers, underwriters, placement agents, initial purchasers and other credit parties in a wide variety of industries in complex public and private placements of high-yield, mezzanine, investment-grade and other debt securities, as well as bridge financings and restructuring and refinancing transactions for high-yield securities, including exchange and tender offers and consent solicitations. The Role Requires: A minimum of two years’ relevant law firm experience. Preferred candidates will have senior secured, mezzanine, second lien and/or syndicated finance experience as well as solid law firm work experience. Must be barred in North Carolina. Must have a strong academic record, excellent writing and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently with clients and colleagues.
