CHIEF PSYCHIATRIST, CORRECTIONAL AND REHAB SERVICES (SAFETY) $28,464.00 - $35,280.00 per Month Responsibilities Provide direct assistance to CDCR institutions, including identification and removal of obstacles to psychiatric services. Identify and monitor corrective action plans for psychiatric care. Participate in quality management processes and implement court‑ordered directives. Work to improve productivity and quality of care, offering guidance and consultation to institutions. Travel statewide as required. Administer hybrid telework responsibilities in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy. Minimum Qualifications Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of medicine in California as determined by the Medical Board of California or the California Board of Osteopathic Examiners. Possession of Minimum Qualifications (MQ) as listed in the Classification Specification. Verification may be required prior to interview and/or appointment. Current state examination or employment application submitted electronically through CalCareer. Certification of U.S. course/degree equivalency for foreign education credentials, if applicable.
