ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Glenn Goodrich State Farm Agency:  We are looking for an Insurance & Financial Sales Representative to grow with our Agency (preferrably with State Farm or insurance experience). We are 7 years into Agency & looking to build the team long term! This position will be fully in office to start with the ability to be hybrid / remote after training. As an office, we are in full growth mode as an Agency. We have to pivot, look for gaps in coverages for existing & new clients & share the Agency vision of growth.

We have a great small team set in place for the future with a great office dynamic & we're looking to add another vital piece to the team. Office location - Just outside Philadelphia near City Avenue in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify customer needs and recommend personalized auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance solutions.
• Generate new business through inbound leads, outbound prospecting, referrals, and community networking.
• Conduct policy reviews to ensure customers have the right coverage as their lives and needs change.
• Educate customers on insurance products and help them make informed decisions to protect what matters most.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales goals while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Follow up consistently with prospects using phone, text, email, and CRM systems.
• Cross-sell additional insurance products by uncovering coverage gaps and opportunities.
• Build long-term customer loyalty through honesty, professionalism, and responsive service.
• Collaborate with the agency team to achieve office sales goals and create a positive, high-performing culture.
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development to continually improve sales skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven success in sales, business development, or customer relationship management (insurance experience is a plus, but not required).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
• Competitive, self-motivated, and driven to exceed individual and team goals.
• Positive, resilient mindset with the ability to bounce back from rejection.
• Confident asking for the sale and comfortable overcoming objections.
• Strong work ethic and a sense of personal accountability.

• Comfortable learning new technology, CRM systems, and agency software.
• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance licenses (preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire).
