Human Resources Specialist

The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Louisville, KY. Job Details: Pay: $25.00/hour to Start! 11-month contract assignment Monday may require an earlier start time to ensure payroll is processed on time Immediate need with interviews beginning ASAP Job Responsibilities: Oversee payroll processing and attendance management Provide administrative HR support for plant employees and leadership Support employee engagement initiatives, company events, food drives, and community programs Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities Administer internal job postings and bid processes Maintain employee records and process HR transactions within HRIS systems Provide workforce management, payroll, benefits, and HR process guidance to employees Support employee benefits administration and enrollment activities Generate reports and maintain confidential HR documentation Assist with process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with HR team members to support business and employee needs Qualifications: High School Diploma required Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 1-3 years of Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, or HR Administration experience Experience with Workday, ADP, Kronos, or other HRIS systems required Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Demonstrated customer service and communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize urgent business needs and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience supporting a unionized workforce Shared Services or HR Contact Center experience Bilingual in Spanish or French Ability to influence stakeholders and support decision-making #J-18808-Ljbffr
